Introducing AzonPress 2.2.0: Add Disclaimer Text For Custom Product, Fix Gutenberg Block Fetching Data Issue, and More!

We are back again, with another version of AzonPress 2.2.0. In this update, we focus on fixing issues and improving our existing features. Without further ado, let’s see the improvements that we’ve made only for you.

Fix: Fetching issue of Azp single product (Gutenberg block)

We’ve resolved the issue with the single product gutenberg block that previously caused data fetching problems. With this update, product data is now automatically fetched whenever you insert a product URL.

Fix: Editing issue of Azp pros and cons (Gutenberg block)

Previously, there was an issue with editing text in the Gutenberg pros and cons table, which caused functionality problems. This update resolves that issue, ensuring smooth text editing in the table.

Fix: Responsive design issue of custom product’s grid template

There was a responsive design issue with the custom product grid template. This update we resolved that problem, ensuring the grid template now functions smoothly across all devices.

Fix: Corrected single product to properly pick up image alt tags

In the previous version, the alt text for custom product images wasn’t being picked up during single product searches. This update fixes the issue, ensuring that the alt text for all product images on the online store is now accurately fetched. When anyone saves a product image, they can see the alt text.

Add: Disclaimer text for custom products

We’ve added a helpful new feature to the custom product template, a disclaimer text that displays the last update date of the product. Now, visitors can easily see when the product was last updated.

Improve: Made admin site fully translatable

AzonPress supports all local languages and currencies. In the last build, there were some translation issues, but with this update, we’ve fixed them. Now the admin site is fully translatable.

Improve: Gutenberg block editor icon change

In the last build, the Gutenberg block icon was a gift box. With this update, we’ve changed it to the AzonPress logo. We hope you like the new look.

Improve: Upgraded the custom product rating component

AzonPress allows you to add custom products from any affiliate program of your choice. When someone searches with a product URL, the plugin fetches all product details, including the rating from the shop. Previously, there was an issue with displaying the product ratings correctly. We’ve fixed it, now the ratings display properly. 

Overall, we improved the custom product module, in terms of better data fetching and increased reliability.

Improves: Azp block’s editor

In this release, we also focused on enhancing the block editor. We’ve improved the functionality of the Gutenberg Block editor and fixed all related issues. From now on, you should experience smooth editing without any difficulties.

However, if you encounter any issues, please submit a support ticket. We’re committed to resolving them as quickly as possible.

Restructured codebase

We always prioritize providing a better user experience, and for that, we need constant fixing and upgrading of AzonPress features. 

While doing that, we found some limitations. The limitations were in our code structure.

So, we restructured the code. We shuffled the entire codebase and future proofed the architecture. From now on, fixing issues and adding new features will be easier than ever.
